When the NHL was rebranded as the National Hockey League, fans had to wait months for the league to announce its newest logo, a bold color scheme that seemed to capture the essence of the sport’s identity.
Now, more than a decade later, it looks like the league is making strides.
Here’s a look at what we know about the upcoming season.
More: NHLPA logo The NHL’s official logo will change again, but it won’t be changing the color scheme, according to an executive familiar with the league’s plans.
The league will be using a more muted version of the logo, which is expected to be unveiled in January, the source said.
The new logo will be designed in partnership with a creative agency and features a new crest.
The old logo, originally a yellow and red version, featured a stylized silhouette of a hockey player on a blue ice rink.
The new logo, though, will not feature a player or the words “NHL.”
Instead, it will be called “NELSON.”NELSOON is an acronym for “New Orleans, Louisiana,” a name the league has long favored for its history and its city.
It stands for New Orleans International Airport, which will serve as the league headquarters and a venue for future home games.
It also means “New England, where the NHL will be located.”
The league announced plans to rebrand the logo in January.
At that time, the logo was the first thing fans saw when they checked into a new team’s hotel.
The league also announced a new logo to be used for future team name changes.
In January, it was announced the league would use a brand-new logo that was inspired by the NFL’s “NFL 60” and its iconic “L” logo.
That logo was used for the first time in the league logo for a few years, but the league wanted to bring it back to its roots, said the executive familiar who requested anonymity because he was not authorized to speak about the logo’s development.
The logo will feature a stylised silhouette of an NHL player on blue ice skates, the executive said.
This is the only logo that is going to have a silhouette.
This represents the essence that the NHL is all about and the brand.
The NHL said the new logo is expected in January and will be unveiled during the 2014-15 season.
It is expected the logo will also be used as the official NHL logo during the 2020-21 season.
In March, the NHL said it would be releasing a new official logo to use as the NHL logo for the 2020 and 2021 seasons.
The team’s name will be changed from the New Orleans Saints to the New England Patriots.
The team has already released a new jersey and apparel that are also expected to use the new name.
The jerseys will feature the new “NELSON” logo and the “NFL” logo, as well as the words, “NEGOTIATE!” on the sleeves.
The New England Revolution will be known as the “NOLSON” and the New York Rangers will be named “NEW ENGLAND.”
The NHL has long been a pioneer in adopting more “traditional” logos and mascots, including “The Big Lebowski” and “Sons of Anarchy,” said David Poyser, the former chief marketing officer of the league.
The NHL, he said, is a unique brand that embodies everything that the sport has been about, including the spirit of “we are all in this together.”
“When I saw the new logos, I thought it was cool,” Poyse said.
“The idea of a new, clean, streamlined logo was appealing.
The fact that the logo is also part of the NFL is a great idea.
The logo is a nod to what we’ve been doing.
It’s going to be a very different look for the NHL, which was already very recognizable.”
The new logos are expected to come out of a collaborative process between the league and creative agencies, said Joe Murphy, a marketing consultant who has worked for many sports leagues.
The logos were created with input from the league, according a statement on the league website.
The teams have worked with a variety of creative agencies over the past three years.
The logos will feature elements of the original design.
“It will not be a stylistic departure,” the statement said.
That means the logo has been designed to look as similar to the old logo as possible, with the goal of “creating a uniform look for all players in a uniform that is consistent across all the teams.”
The logos are not expected to change much, the statement added.
The branding process will continue to be done by the teams.
The redesigned logo will incorporate the NFL logo’s silhouette on the sleeve.
The sleeves will be red, while the logos’ letters will be blue.
The lettering will be bold and distinctive, while also being less prominent than the old jerseys, the league said.
